You Can Pick Me Up At Eight

A cynical view on relationships.

Words: rickroll, duckroll

Rick Astley

I like to regularly check out Urban Dictionary to find new interesting words and to keep up with the language of young people (harhar). Todays words are:

to rickroll - trolling on or with youtube by sending a link to Rick Astley’s big hit “Never Gonna Give You Up“.

to duckroll - sending a picture of a duck on wheels.

One highschool-teacher of mine used to say: “Learn a new word every day!”

Yay to vocabulary expansion!

Steak and Blowjob Day

Today is Steak and Blowjob Day, and it’s pretty much self-explanatory. This website has more details, and its manifest ends rightfully with the words : “Spread the word, and help bring love and peace to this crazy world.”.

I just did. Peace.

Crosstide - Angeles

A cover version of a great song by Elliot Smith (with a weird video though).

Roxette - Paint

Youtube comment to this video: “I remember myself making love and getting a giant orgasm when listening to this one. Great!!” Hrh, good. For me it’s a video from the time around I started to get interested in music. And of course it kinda reminds me of childhood slash early teenage years.

Indiana Jones 4 Trailer

The man with the hat is back!

Indiana Jones

I’m still hoping it will not be the horrible mess the new Star Wars movies were. But the movie trailer looks promising. Indy is old, but perhaps he is still fighting the Nazis? Oh, I hate those guys!

What can I say, I’m still a guy

… and us guys love jet planes! (Not necessarily Bon Jovi though, turn the volume down in that case, you’ve been warned.)

The Perfect Girlfriend

…has a short skirt and a long jacket! Of course, heh.

Another Hardest Puzzle In The World

Zorro

Yes, so the picture has nothing to do with the puzzle. But perhaps you need to be a masked, saber-swinging madman and hero to solve it. Here is the link.

Subculture, Subculture

The quote-on-quote pick-up industry is actually quite business rolling in millions of dollars to a couple of gurus that teach nerdy guys how to pick up girls. Even though I think it won’t become that huge mainstream phenomenon, I think that it’s here to stay, and that is good for the common sense, in a way similar to cooking seminars and chess clubs.

Here’s a video from Mystery, who’s probably the biggest fish in the pick-up tank, since he had a VH-1 tv-show some time ago. He’s talking about subconscious signs of interest.

Just two more things before I’m done. First, don’t call a woman (or anyone) out on subconscious signs, as they can easily deny it or didn’t even realize it happened.

Second, don’t subscribe to Mystery’s newsletter. I did and they keep spamming me with bullshit up to several emails a day.

The industry is alive, but it has a nasty habit of nagging.
