It’s quite often that great talent comes with a difficult personality. Nina Simone would sometimes just stop singing and start scolding band members if they made a tiny mistake. One day she fired a gun at a record executive, because she thought he was stealing royalties from her, another day she assaulted children, that were laughing and thus disturbing her concentration. Later she would be called a borderline personality. But she made good music.
If she were alive, she’d be 75 years old today.
